OTC programs are available on a contract basis for you or your organization. Details are available upon request and negotiated with ORGANIZE Training Center on an individual basis. Local and National Consultation and Workshops

 OTC’s Executive Director, Mike Miller, offers consultation and workshop assistance to grassroots organizations and those who support them. References available upon request.

One-Half to Six-Day Workshops on Organizing

​Introductory and advanced workshops (campaigns, member-based fundraising, negotiations, organizational renewal & others) sponsored by your organization. (This can also be used by your organization as a fundraiser.)

Internships

​A program of guided reading, fieldwork placement, phone or in-person tutorial and general discussion of organizing for individuals interested in deeper study of community organizing.

Organizer Training Program

​A limited number of full-time placements, with accompanying educational activities, of at least six months, for individuals interested in becoming full-time organizers.

Teaching and Public Speaking

Mike Miller is available as a guest seminar leader or classroom teacher, and for public speaking events.

Organizer and Leadership Retreats and Continuing Education

​OTC offers continuing education and reflection activities, retreats, seminars, materials, and training for leaders who want an opportunity to reflect on the meaning of their activity and/or explore more deeply the political, economic, and value bases of broadly-based community organizing. These events are hosted by your organization.

Community-Based Nonprofit Organizations as Sponsors of Community Organizing

OTC works with nonprofits and NGOs to overcome the problem of cooptation by defining a sponsorship role for nonprofits in a broad-based community organizing effort.
